Family-friendly Fort William hotel

One of the major attractions at The Isles of Glencoe Hotel is its leisure centre. As well as a gym room, it has a twelve meter swimming pool with a hydro seat and a bio-sauna. There is a wading pool for babies and small children. The leisure centre is a great resource on rainy days but the hotel is also well stocked with board games and puzzles. Free golf is also offered to guests at the nearby 9 hole Dragon’s Tooth Golf Club. Clubs can be hired.

Scottish produce in Lochside Restaurant

Scotland’s natural larder is famous and the chefs at The Isles of Glencoe Hotel know how to show these great ingredients at their best. Flavours from around the world appear on the menus but the main emphasis is on simple, classic dishes that let the true flavours of the food speak for themselves.

The table d’hote dinner in the Lochside Restaurant changes on a daily basis but always offers a taste of Scotland.

During the day, a bistro menu offers everything from coffee and cakes to light meals, seafood platters and steaks. There is a children’s menu and, if they want, younger guests can dine at the Children’s Dinner Table. Breakfast at The Isles of Glencoe ranges from delicious organic muesli to hearty Scottish breakfasts – perfect for a day on the hills.

Outdoor Pursuits in Lochaber

The nearby Lochaber Water Sports offers boat and canoe hire while several ski resorts are within easy driving distance. Add in multiple castle, distilleries and, of course, Glencoe itself and it’s easy to see why The Isles of Glencoe Hotel is such a popular West Highlands hotel.
