Choice of three dining areas

When it comes to dining, The Imperial Hotel has plenty of variety.

The Blue Restaurant offers creative cuisine that showcases the natural larder of surrounding areas. Traditional Scottish dishes mingle with a few international favourites, all prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and accompanied by an extensive wine list. The restaurant also offers a Curry Bar menu.

Alternatively, if you are in the mood for Italian, you can head to the hotel’s Rio Pizzeria for a range of pizzas and pastas. For casual dining, try out the bar menu in the relaxing Library Lounge.

Explore Fort William

Loch Linnhe is known for being a photographer’s dream due to its amazing scenery, striking sunsets and pretty pebble beaches. Activities include kayaking, sailing and wildlife spotting. You could explore it all by taking a loch cruise from Fort William, which will give you a chance to spot highlights like Seal Island and Ben Nevis.

Scotland’s most romantic valley, Glencoe, is just a 25-minute drive from the hotel.

Other attractions include the Steall Waterfall, the cablecar thrill ride that is the Nevis Range Mountain Experience, and the ‘greatest railway journey in the world’, the Jacobite Steam Train. Be sure to also make time to browse the shops and cafes of Fort William itself.
