There are three golf courses within 15 miles of the hotel, the closest being in Newtonmore itself. This course follows the natural contours of the River Spey and is mostly easy to navigate parkland.

Shoppers can browse for souvenirs in Aviemore, while whisky lovers can stop off for a wee dram at Dalwhinnie Distillery.
