Description

Number 10 is a chic four star boutique hotel that offers contemporary comforts in an elegant Victorian residence. The hotel is situated in Glasgow’s Southside, just a ten minute drive from the city centre and fifteen minutes from Glasgow International Airport.

Number 10 overlooks Queen’s Park, a sweeping green space with a historic monument and 19th century glasshouses. There are also a variety of shops, bars and restaurants nearby.

The hotel prides itself on the warm welcome and friendly service offered to guests.

Contemporary rooms

Number 10 may have an elegant Victorian exterior but inside are all the comforts of a contemporary boutique hotel. All bedrooms and suites are individually decorated with comfy beds, warm furnishings and luxurious linens.

Facilities include free wifi, hot drink making facilities and quality toiletries. Guests can enjoy views of either of Queen’s Park or the hotel gardens from their rooms.

Seasonally inspired dining

Number 10’s restaurant offers timeless classics with a modern twist. Dishes are seasonally inspired with added touches of ingenuity.

The best locally sourced ingredients and freshest produce are used, including award-winning Campbell’s prime meat, fruit and vegetables from Elliot’s and fish from Bernard Corrigan.

Typical main courses from a sample menu might be the traditional steak pie, the vegetable Thai red curry, the pan-seared breast of chicken stuffed with chorizo & red pepper or the fresh fillet of salmon dressed with a spicy chilli salsa, fondant potato & green beans.

Afternoon tea is also served daily. The light and airy hotel bar is a lovely spot for a relaxed drink before or after dinner.

See & Do

There is plenty to see and do in Glasgow’s fascinating Southside, including a variety of spacious parks such as Queen’s Park, King’s Park, Pollok Country Park and Bellahouston Park.

Key attractions include the Charles Rennie Mackintosh House for an Art Lover, the Burrell Collection, the Scottish Football Museum, Scotland Street School Museum and the Tramway theatre with its Hidden Gardens. The buzzing Shawlands area has a range of shops, restaurants and bars to enjoy.

Number 10 is also only a ten minute journey from the many attractions of Glasgow city centre.

This is one of the best deals we’ve used and at no point did the hotel make us feel that standards were reduced because it was a voucher deal.
