Dating back to 1894, the purpose built Marine Hotel in Troon was registered as an AA 4 star hotel in 1912, and is the only hotel in Scotland to have retained the same star rating throughout its history. With breathtaking views of the Isle of Arran, The Marine Hotel in Troon is the perfect base to explore Ayrshire, Burns Country and the West coast of Scotland.

The Marine Hotel in Troon has 89 rooms including twelve deluxe rooms and four suites. Modern in design yet sympathetic to the Victorian architecture, the rooms are light and airy and feature classic dark wooden furnishings. The deluxe rooms have views of Old Course Royal Troon and the rugged Ayrshire coastline while the suites, named after famous golfers, also have four poster beds and a private lounge area. All of the rooms have Wi-Fi.

Truin restaurant

Truin restaurant at The Marine Hotel serves modern Scottish cuisine. As well as overlooking the 18th at the Old Course Royal Troon, it has views to Arran – perfect for a romantic dinner.

Typical of the menu might be starters such as the Inverawe oak smoked haddock bon bons. The 24 hour braised blade of Scottish beef is a popular main course, or go for local seafood again with the Troon Bay mussels.

The afternoon tea is a real treat with all homemade sandwiches, scones, cakes and pastries.

The Arran Bar is ideal for afternoon tea, a sophisticated cocktail or, of course, a single malt whisky – the finest nightcap known to man.

Guests at The Marine Hotel in Troon can enjoy the facilities in the spa and health club.
