Mercure Aberdeen Ardoe House Hotel and Spa is a beautiful 19th century mansion house set in 30 acres of tranquil Aberdeenshire countryside.

Along with 120 traditionally decorated bedrooms, the hotel also boasts a restaurant, lounge bar, spa and fitness room.

Ardoe House Hotel and Spa’s bedrooms have been newly refurbished and feature a king size beds, desks, WiFi, telephone, aircon, TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, and ensuite bathrooms with a bath and shower.

Many of the rooms have views of the hotel’s beautiful landscape gardens.

Elegant restaurant

Ardoe House Hotel and Spa’s Blairs Restaurant boasts a kitchen that does justice to its grand surroundings. The award winning chefs conjure up one winning dish after another, using fresh, local produce and the finest international ingredients.

Menus can change seasonally, but you can expect starters such as haggis bon bons with brown sauce or potted smoked ham hock with rustic bread and mains such as sea trout served with smoked mussels, spinach, pomme anna, sauce vierge or Scotch pork belly with braised bon bon, cauliflower, apple cider.

For drinks, informal bar meals and a warm, open fire, guests can head to the hotel’s cosy Soapies Lounge.

The hotel also has a Drawing Room which has a grand fireplace, a roaring open fire, original features of rich wood panelling, opulent furniture and impressive artwork. The Drawing Room is where refreshments, home baking and light lunches and suppers are served.
