Bekonscot’s model village and railway is the oldest of its kind in the country and homes a colourful range of vehicles, shops and townsfolk while Odds Farm Park is home to loads of cute animals and has enough activities to keep the little ones occupied for hours. Bethlem Museum of the Mind is one of its most visited spots in Beckenham and offers an extensive history of mental health and recovery along with interesting, free exhibitions of artwork and research - all housed within gorgeous Art Deco architecture. One described as “up and coming”, it’s fair to say Brixton has now established itself as one of the best places to go in South London.
