Had a good stay breakfast was good and had a bottle of Prosecco in with the deal! The only thing was overlooking a roof with a dead pigeon! Room needs updating!

Hotel is old and rooms are tired and need refurbishing. But we love this hotel. Beachfront location. Spacious rooms. Comfy beds. Everyone is friendly. Manager and Staff go above and beyond . Food is good.

We had 2 nights at the Old Ship. Yes it is old building and needs some TLC but that adds to the charm of the old place. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Yes I would stay again.

No way is this hotel 4star ….its in desperate need of a total refurb …
Staff are lovely and the food was ok but the hotel is delapadated …..the shower only got to Luke warm but luckily it was hot weather so it didn’t matter the bed linen was clean and so were the towels ….the bed needed a new mattress the carpet was very tired ….furniture battered the halls and corridors were in a sorry state huge cracks in the wall carpet threadbare in places dirty skirting and doors …even displayed what we’re smoking and non smoking rooms ????
Prime location but severely let down by the state of the hotel ….inside and out ….btle of Prosecco was ok …..

We only had the overnight stay for three nights. No breakfast included. We paid for breakfast on first morning but weren't that impressed with the selection for continental as no ham or cheese, just two pastries and toast. No choice of eggs, fried only and you had to make your own tea and coffee.

Have stayed at The Old Ship quite a lot but this time not up to there usual standard! Room looked ok when we walked in but there was a really bad smell in the bathroom! Breakfast used to excellent also the service too! Hardly any choice for the breakfast and not very hot! Usually the waitress or waiter brought u fresh tea or coffee but this time u got the coffee out of an urn which was horrible! The waitress that was at the door to greet people stood all the time at the desk and did a word search! Didn’t clear anything off the tables! Was very disappointed!
