Just loved the old cosy feeling that you would come to expect in such an old inn. If your not familiar with staying in such a building you may say it needs updating, I would say it’s just its charm. Bret was on site and welcomed me and was friendly and helpful, thanks Bret. Didn’t eat but breakfast smelt good. Room was cosy. Would definitely stay again. If you love old buildings with loads of history, you will love this place.

Located only yards from the A1 (Great North Road), the inn has ample, free parking. The rooms are clean, well furnished, and comfortable. The breakfast is more than adequate... great portions. However, the most stunning feature of the Sibson Inn is its competent and caring staff. In particular, Lily (Reception) is a true gem and ensures guests are cared for in an exceptional manner.

Tottally a golden gem, found this place by mistake and now it's my favourite place to stay when working near by. The rooms a spacious comfortable,clean,and i always sleep well The food is fresh good value for money and the chef can cook amazing food, 10/10 every time, The Sibson has a nice little bar area with good drinks on draft it's a nice atmosphere to be in but the best part of this hotel is the staff, really friendly and welcoming, a really nice group of people that are there to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable
