Excellent break away: The experience from start to finish was superb. The little touches of a welcome card and chocolates made the stay personal. The lodge was very clean and the hot tub was so relaxing. This is a real gem in the Shropshire countryside. Will be back

The best birthday present!!: My mother suprised me with a getaway for me and my boyfriend for my 18th. It was perfect. The on-site pub was great with lovely food and drinks. We stayed here 2 nights (Lodge 2)so we really made the most of the hot tub and lovely lodge (the hot tub is a must 🤩). The bed was super comfy and we both slept really well and the lodge was really clean, warm and cozy. We also ordered a BBQ pack which had gorgeous meat and vegetables with a very reasonable price. We ventured out to meole brace and did some shopping and then went to Church Stretton which is a lovely town with everything you need. On checkout day we also went for a walk around Cardingmill Valley which is not far away at all. We really enjoyed our weekend and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful break.

Highly recommend!: We are just back home from a fab 2 day break, with our base at Mountain Edge. We cannot rate this place highly enough. Check in was easy. Our timber lodge was well equipped and very comfortable. The bonus of (at extra cost) the outdoor hot tube was great, particularly after a gruelling hike up Long Mynd! We booked the meat pack on offer, and for £10 was great value, cooked on the outside bbq. We ate in the pub, The Station. Again we’d highly recommend. It’s a beautiful part of the country with great walks. All in all a lovely couple of days. We’ll hopefully return in the not too distant future! Read less
