Spectacular Italian City Break - 4* Venice Hotel Stay & Flights

Venice in December was amazing. Be wary of the booking company. We ended up paying 50% more for Gatwick flights we paid for on the voucher and the hotel was further out and only. Basic 3*. They were not able to offer us any option for the date and price we paid. But, the hotel staff were amazing. Room very basic, but it’s only a place to sleep, so ticked the boxes there. Number 7 bus as 15 mins max in and out of the bus station by the islands. Venice itself was incredible. December is quieter, so if you don’t like being in scrums, then look out of season.

Hotel in an excellent place, over the road from the train station. 2 stops away from Venice. The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were always available to answer any questions I had an were very helpful. The bar/restaurant in the Hotel was good, again excellent staff always cheerful. Alround it was a nice couple of days away.

Great value Great deal & a great weekend break. The negative was dealing with Dealotravel who gave awful flight times, tried to charge more for what was said to be included in the Wowcher deal & quoted the fine print when giving me far less hours at the destination than advertised. I had to pay an extra £35 pp for a later flight as what was offered meant I’d have only got 30 hours there instead of the minimum 40 as advertised

Rooms are spacious and clean and breakfast is good.

The hotel has a very convenient location... The breakfast was sumptuous with wide variety of yummy tarts and cakes.

The Hotel was quite a way from Venice and was very basic. Not even a bar!! We went looking for restaurants on the first night, nothing open, had to go to McDonald's, not what I planned for a trip to Venice. We couldnt even find the Xmas Markets which was the purpose of trip.

The holiday was a cheap break flying with easy jet was expensive they charged me for hand luggage grand total of £80 pound charged for seats £13.00 easyjet are getting very greedy towards customers. Otherwise Venice was cold christmassy and lovely eating out in Venice was expensive so we stayed more towards Mestre we our hotel was in a lovely little restaurant.

Good price for a deal including flights but the hotel we were booked into had such terrible reviews (most featuring bed bugs) that we chose to book a different hotel.

we booked for 4 nights and when we redeemed the voucher the flight times were so bad we reduced to 3 nights. We also had to pay another £40 for less nights and then another £80 for baggage (which we expected). We had no choice of airport which meant an 3 hour trip to the airport. Also no obvious Christmas markets which was how the trip was sold! That all said Venice is fabulous!! Flights and hotel were excellent!
