Comfy room with nice food in the heart of the city We had a double bedroom for 3 nights with breakfast. Clean & tidy room with comfy bed, delicious food. Quick & easy administration when we decided to extend from the originally booked 2 nights to 3 nights. Plenty of connections by public transport (metro, trams, buses). Friendly staff and a good stay overall for the price.

Stay in Budapest Thanks to the Marmara Hotelour stay in Budapest was pleasant, our room was great right for two people as well as the bathroom with a fairly spacious shower. We didn't have a great view of the city as it was surrounded by other buildings but still the staff were very nice, the room and common areas clean. The hotel is located on the Pest side and is in a quiet area well connected by public transport that works very well in Budapest, but also on foot (from the hotel) you can visit many attractions. The deposit left at the beginning of the stay was re-credited to my card immediately after check out and the next day I had the full amount on the account (this also varies depending on the speed of your bank). FLAWS: Our room did not have a hair dryer, breakfast could be more varied and plentiful eg. Also offer cakes, pancakes (or crepes) a different variety of yogurt stored maybe in a mini fridge and not left out in a bowl, Also offer vegetable drinks, another thing to improve are the toasters that should be totally changed as they are too slow to toast bread, this creates a line of people waiting to toast it. In general I recommend this hotel for your stay in Budapest.

Grand prix break We stayed at this hotel as part of a arranged booking with a trip to attend the Grand Prix. We were very happy with the hotel. It was in a good position for our stay - in a good central position. The hotel staff were friendly, and gave assistance when needed. We stayed for bed and breakfast and were happy with the buffet style breakfast. Would recommend for a central city break!
