Beautiful hotel , gorgeous period features , spotless clean throughout , staff very friendly & super helpful (even carried our luggage upstairs as we are older and my friend has some disability) food was delicious and really good portions , have already recommended to friends and will certainly be back , we upgraded to the balcony room and for the extra £20 the views were stunning , can't wait for my next visit , well done Lochnell your choice of staff is exeptonal everyone was so kind patient and could not do enough for us from bar staff to breakfast

The Lochnell Arms Is in need of some TLC.The stairway to the rooms is poorly lit on a corner which could possibly lead to someone falling down the stair and part of the Bannister handrail was missing. It is also awkward to negotiate when carrying luggage. I would not recommendit to anyone with mobility issues.
Now for the good bits, the staff were amazing and very helpful and the food and drink was reasonably priced and of excelleny quality.
