Just got back from Schillingford Bridge hotel where I stayed last night with my gf. We both loved it there. The location is unbelievable and I am so glad that we upgraded to a river view room. Within an hour of arriving my gf was swimming in the river, whilst I watched from our room. The river is just a hundred metres away. Our room was large and clean and the bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed it immensely. The staff were attentive, the food and wine was great and the portions were generous. The following morning we had a huge full English breakfast although there were plenty of other options. The breakfast was lovely. This hotel is ideally situated right on the riverbank, has ample parking ,great rooms and helpful polite staff. A wonderful place to stay.

We Loved our stay at this hotel. Its in a Fantastic location great for walking along the river. The staff were very friendly and the food was top class. The room was lovely comfortable and quiet. We will definitely be returning to this hotel very soon.

An absolute hidden gem. Five star room, Beautiful food. Friendly, and a beautiful location overlooking the river. Our room was fantastic with a large Freeview TV, a six feet queen size bed, and a luxurious bathroom. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. Our evening meals were superb, as were the breakfasts. Wine was top rate. Prices are reasonable and I would recommend the restaurant and bar for coffee, drinks, meals and breakfasts for any non residents. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We will return if we can.
