Very centrally located and good value! The location of this hotel could not be better! Very centrally located to downtown Oban, yet very quiet. Our room backed onto a rocky cliff, so no one was behind us and it was very restful. The rooms are comfortable. I much appreciated the delivery of a fan to cool the room. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The drawbacks are that the Internet is very poor (maybe a function of the room location) and the breakfast offerings are good but limited. Also, there is no elevator, which was not an issue for us. However, I would definitely stay here again!

Oban ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A small fantastic hotel with good service. Walking distance to the center and harbor. Good breakfast. Free on-street parking between 6pm and 9am. Near store (Tesco) with large parking. Many pubs, cafes and restaurants nearby.

A good stay in Oban Spent three nights at the Ranald for our visit to Oban and Iona. Great location. Rooms are a bit small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Not the most luxurious, but functional, efficient, and friendly. Recommend without reservation.
