Perfect for autumn, these compact, dome-forming beauties bloom from late August to November, filling your space with hundreds of flowers in rich autumnal shades like orange, coral, pink, dark pink, snow, and yellow. Whether potted or planted in beds and borders, these versatile 'Mums are easy to grow and create a stunning carpet of colour, making them a must-have for any autumn garden!

Care instructions

• Unpack and hydrate: Upon arrival, unpack your plugs immediately. Mist them or stand them in water for an hour to rehydrate, especially if they appear slightly dry or yellow. If you can't do this right away, they can sit in Mini Greenhouses for a week as long as they're upright and not too wet.
• Let them settle: Place your plugs in a warm, light, and airy spot, such as a windowsill or greenhouse, for a day to allow them to acclimatise.
• Potting on: When ready to pot on, use a good quality, multi-purpose compost. Fill 3-4 inch (7-10cm) pots, make a hole in the compost, and gently place the plug into the hole, firming the compost around it.
• Planter suggestions: For best results, use Windowsill Planters or 9cm pots in Shuttle Trays.
• Watering: Water well initially, then only water again when the top of the compost starts to dry out. Avoid leaving them in standing water.
• Growing on: Keep the plants in a bright windowsill or greenhouse for 3-4 weeks before transferring them to containers or flower beds.
• Planting in flower beds: After the risk of frost has passed, prepare the ground by removing weeds and digging in compost or well-rotted manure if your soil isn't rich. Plant approximately 20cm (8”) apart.
• Feeding: Use a high-potash feed like Blooming Fast Superior Soluble Fertiliser for Flowers & Fruits to encourage blooming.
• Dead-heading: Regularly dead-head fading flowers to encourage new blooms.
