Available seven days a week, option one is for two people to enjoy an overnight dinner bed and breakfast stay in one of the hotel’s double or twin rooms.

Option two, also available seven days a week, is for two people to enjoy a two consecutive night stay with a three course dinner each evening and full Scottish breakfast in the mornings.

All the rooms have picturesque views across the cathedral square with its historic cottages, beautiful medieval cathedral and leafy kirk yard.

A charming spot with pitched wooden ceilings and views across Cathedral Square, the Dining Room serves a lovely selection of traditional Scottish and British dishes.

Wherever possible, the kitchen uses fresh, local and seasonal produce. The menus change regularly but typical starters might be the haddock and lemon mini-fishcakes; the haggis fritters or the buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad with a basil dressing.

Popular main courses include the Scottish rib-eye steak from Bennetts the local butcher; the game casserole plus the beer-battered, North Sea haddock.

Lots to see and do

As autumn turns the leaves golden, the hotel is perfectly located for exploring The Trossachs National Park and historic landmarks such as Stirling Castle.

There are plenty of Munros to be conquered in the surrounding area and it’s ideally place for a round of golf at Gleneagles.
