Afternoon tea is served in the 118 feet long Grand Hall, the heart of Mar Hall. Furnished with French style Louis XIV chairs and low coffee tables, it is hung with fine paintings and splendid tapestries.

The twenty feet high windows allow ample natural light as well as views of the formal gardens including a large and beautiful Lebanese Cedar.

The Grand Hall has been described as breath-taking but not so much as to stop guests enjoying a good catch-up over the tea and scones.

Available 1pm-4pm, Sunday to Thursday, option one of this Big Deal is for a traditional afternoon tea for two.

Option two is as option one but also features a chilled glass of Moet and Chandon Champagne for each guest.
