Dave Thomas-designed course

Measuring in at just over 6500 yards in total, the course was designed by respected golf course architect, Dave Thomas, best known for his work at The Belfry in England, plus San Roque and

Although it only opened relatively recently, in 2010, the Earl of Mar gives the impression of being a well-established course.

In part, this is due to it being shaped around 250 year old sweet chestnut and beech trees but also because it is an integral part of the ancient Mar estate.
