Two or three night break

Available seven days a week, this offer is for up to six people to enjoy a two or three night stay in a four star Luxury Woodland Lodge.

Nestled among ancient Caledonian pine forests, the deluxe Highland lodges combine luxury with outdoor living.

After a day of adventuring in the surrounding mountains, you can store your bikes in the woodshed, before settling into your woodland home-from-home in front of a cosy wood-burning stove.

Enjoy long summer evenings with a drink on your private deck, take a stroll to one of the nearby resort lodges or order in a pizza delivery from Giovanni’s – the resort’s onsite Italian.

Each of our lodges sleeps up to six people in three en-suite bedrooms.

Lodges feature a living room with flat screen TV and DVD player; a gallery kitchen with a four ring hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, Espresso coffee machine, tableware and cutlery.

The three bedroom lodges have wood burning stoves and dishwashers along with storage for bikes and free Wi-Fi powered by The Cloud.

There is a £90 per night per lodge supplement for Friday and Saturday night stays.

See & do

With the Cairngorms on the doorstep, there is no shortage of outdoor activities to enjoy in the local area.

Macdonald Aviemore Resort also has plenty to offer.

Luxury brand shopping; 3D cinema viewing; top class restaurants; the new state-of-the-art Aviemore Activity Centre and the Spey Valley Championship Golf Course are all on-site or within easy reach.

At Spey Valley Leisure guests have use of the 25m indoor pool, complete with wave machine and flume.

‘We have stayed here a few times now since 2007 – we truly love the cabins! We love the area – the town itself is just minutes walk from cabins. The cabin is just luxury and away from it all – the towels are thick and smell fresh; beds are very comfy and clean; the three bedrooms are all ensuite.. It’s roomy and a nice veranda for the cosy night time cocoa under the stars… there are no ovens in the cabin which, for self-catering, I find a little strange but the town centre has some great places to eat…’
