The deal features a full Scottish breakfast each morning plus a bottle of Prosecco and handmade Scottish tablet in your room on arrival.

The offer also include a three course dinner from the market menu in The Boat Bistro on each night of your stay.

Finally, this Big Deal has a late check out to noon – no need to rush your delicious breakfast on departure day.

Family break

This offer would be ideal for a romantic getaway. It’s also child-friendly. Deluxe rooms can accommodate one child, aged 5-12. There is no supplement for this and the child also eats free from the kids’ menu.

Guests can also upgrade to a Suite for a supplement of £20 per night. These can accommodate two adults with two children and again the children eat for free from the kids’ menu.

Local produce

The breakfasts at The Boat Hotel are pretty special. As an alternative to the full Scottish breakfast, you can order anything from delicate smoked Scottish haddock to meltingly beautiful eggs Florentine. Breakfast also offers a range of cold dishes and freshly baked pastries from the larder.

Guests will also feel spoiled at dinner. The kitchen uses locally sourced, seasonal products to produce contemporary interpretations of classic British dishes along with a selection of more exotic choices.

The Osprey Bar has a very tempting collection of malt whisky – perfect for relaxing with in front of the open fire.

‘Just home from a wonderful two night stay in this great hotel. Everything about it was outstanding from the room, staff, meals, atmosphere and accessibility for everything we wanted to explore. We loved the crisp cotton sheets and fluffy white towels. The Prosecco wine, which was part of the deal, was very welcome as was the bottled water the next morning. Compliments to the chef as the meals were fantastic. The table settings were lovely as were the various dining and bar areas. A great experience… and we will certainly be back.’
