Featuring an atmospheric hotel; a romantic castle and not one but two beautiful lochs, today’s Big Deal with the Argyll Hotel in Inveraray is the perfect West Coast getaway.
Designed in 1750, the Argyll Hotel was originally built to accommodate officials visiting Inveraray Castle.
Snap up today’s Big Deal and, as well as a relaxing stay in this historic hotel on the shores of Loch Fyne, you will also enjoy entrance tickets to the spectacular castle.
The ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll, clan chief of the Campbells, the 18th century castle was also the setting for the 2012 Downton Abbey Christmas special.
Relaxing West Coast Getaway
Ideal for a re-energising break, this offer comes in two varieties. Option one is for two people to stay one night in a comfortable standard twin or double at the Inveraray Hotel. A three course table d’hote dinner in the evening and full Scottish breakfast are included.

Both options include two adult tickets for entry to Inveraray Castle. Feel free to play your favourite Downton character while there but don’t blame us if you get funny looks.
Both options are available Sunday to Thursday.
There is also the option to upgrade to a brilliant loch view room for an extra £10 per room per night.

Many TripAdvisor reviewers have been positive about the Argyll Hotel. This is what a recent reviewer had to say. We’ve edited for length but not meaning:
‘Great night away from home… The hotel was lovely. As expected with an old hotel it could be doing with a bit of TLC but the staff and atmosphere of the place more than made up for that. The room, on the first floor and towards the back of the hotel was warm, clean and comfortable… Dinner menu was good for being on a voucher deal and the staff were very attentive. The restaurant and bar were welcoming and friendly, (possible only downside, not a good choice of beers). Breakfast was great, good choice of cereal, full cooked and pastries, coffee and toast. Didn’t need to eat again until teatime. We also got a voucher to visit the castle which was interesting to me, not so much to my partner. All the staff were friendly and very eager to make sure we were fine… Would defo go back again. Thanks for our stay.’
With vouchers valid, Sunday to Thursday, until the end of August, this Big Deal is a great way to getaway and explore this beautiful part of Scotland.
