Now a welcoming and comfortable, four star, country house hotel, Moness House Hotel started life as a shooting lodge.
It was built by the Baron of Moness in 1758 and, not far off three centuries later, is now the oldest dwelling in Aberfeldy.
These days, you don’t need to be a member of the aristocracy to enjoy the clean Perthshire air and 35 acres of woodland estate surrounding the hotel – just take advantage of today’s Big Deal on an overnight stay.
Lovingly refurbished to retain the integrity of the original while introducing the essentials of modern day comfort, Moness House and Resort are an ideal base for exploring this beautiful and unique part of Scotland.
Less than two hours from all of Scotland’s major cities, Moness Resort is quick and easy to get to but feels a long way from the grind of urban life.
Today’s offer is available in two versions. Option one is for an overnight stay in one of a limited number of suites. Included in the offer is a full Scottish breakfast and three course dinner in Flemmyngs Restaurant. Full use of the excellent resort facilities is also included.
Option two is the same as option one except it is for an overnight stay in a deluxe room.
No two rooms at Moness House are identical. They have differing views, room sizes, floor levels, ceiling heights and location.
What they have in common is that they are all ensuite, furnished to the highest standard and include flat screen TV with satellite channels; Internet access; DVD; Egyptian cotton bed linen; hairdryer, iron and hot drinks facilities.
Guests at the hotel are welcome to use all of the resort’s extensive facilities. The changing rooms, steam room, sauna, individual treatment rooms and poolside showers have recently been refurbished while the heated swimming pool is as popular as ever.
Badminton, mini-tennis, squash, table tennis and pool are all available on site or you could indulge in some luxurious treatments (not included) in the new Spa Therapy Rooms.

Flemmyngs Restaurant offers an excellent choice of fresh meat, fish and game sourced in Perthshire.
As part of the offer, guests will enjoy a three course dinner in the restaurant.
The menu changes daily but typical dishes might be the hot-smoked salmon and smoked salmon with pickled cucumber and Hollandaise; the slow cooked shin of Aberdeen beef with celeriac purée, fondant potato and roasted root vegetables or the Drambuie scented crème brulée with caramelised orange segments and shortbread.
