Topical taboo

On September 11th 2015, MPs voted overwhelmingly against legalising assisted suicide.

Opinion polls would have you believe that the majority of the UK population believe it’s a humane choice to legalise assisted suicide for terminally ill or disabled people but Liz and many other disabled people disagree.

It is a topical but often taboo subject and one which Liz and director Mark Whitelaw examine with wit, humour and an unsentimental clarity which can be rare in mainstream commentary.

Cultural Olympiad

This production is part of Glasgow Tramway’s Unlimited Festival which runs during the last two weeks of September this year. 

An international programme of performance, visual art and discussions celebrating extraordinary work by disabled artists, Unlimited was originally part of the Cultural Olympiad for the London 2012 Olympics.

Unlimited has become the biggest and best programme like it in the world, and for the first time it extends to Scotland.
