We are all for peace and goodwill to all men.
It’s just that both can seem to be in short supply in the run-up to Christmas.
Find peace and top up your good will with today’s Big Deal on a relaxing stay at the lovely Creggans Inn Hotel in Argyll.
Shores of Loch Fyne
Just over an hour’s drive from Glasgow, The Creggans Inn Hotel is an award-winning, family-run business that sits on the shore of Loch Fyne with views to Inveraray.
The guest lounges also boast absorbing views or you could just cast a careful eye over the malt whisky in the hotel’s bar – a welcoming space which is kept cosy with a log fire on cold nights.
Each of the inn’s fourteen bedrooms has been individually decorated and has its own distinct character. They are all en-suite and feature little luxuries such as the Sea Kelp toiletries. WiFi is standard.
The deal is for two people to relax with an overnight stay in a standard double or twin loch view room.
A choice of full Scottish or continental breakfast is included in the offer.
A supplement of £15 per room per night, payable direct to the hotel, is charged for Friday and Saturday night stays.
Upgrades to a superior loch view room may be available at £15 per room per night.
Should you choose to dine in the hotel, The Creggans Inn has two appealing dining options: MacPhunn’s Bar & Restaurant where you can enjoy an extensive bistro style menu or the Loch Fyne Dining Room which has two AA Rosettes.
Local, seasonal produce is at the heart of the menu in both MacPhunn’s and the Loch Fyne Restaurant.
In the restaurant, this might mean hand-dived Loch Fyne scallops; roast loin of Scotch lamb or halibut. In MacPhunn’s, the bar menu features dishes such as Cullen skink; West Coast salmon fillets and a steak and ale pie made with locally brewed beer.
An ideal base for exploring Argyll and central Scotland, the area surrounding The Creggans Inn Hotel boasts castles, gardens, wildlife, golf, quad biking and fishing.
Many a TripAdvisor reviewer has had a great stay. This is what one recent guest had to say. We’ve cut it for length but not meaning:
‘Very relaxing… Big, cosy rooms with great views of the Loch. Very nice lounge equipped with antique/vintage furniture. The same in the wonderful breakfast room with big, big windows. The perfect breakfast didn’t get our full attention because the stunning views of the loch attracted us that much. The food in the restaurant was excellent as well, and we were very pleased by the great service.’
Set yourself up for the festive period with today’s offer on a break at The Creggans Inn. It’s the perfect antidote to the pre-Christmas rush.
