The Honours at Malmaison

Lovers of good food were thrilled when the award-winning chef Martin Wishart opened The Honours in Glasgow’s Malmaison last year.

The List’s review reckoned that The Honours offered ‘high-end brasserie dining’ and steaks ‘cooked in a 650°F Josper grill which results in tender, flavour-packed meat’. 

The Honours Hickory Smoked Chateaubriand to share

This offer comes in two forms, both available from noon to 5pm, Friday to Sunday.

Option one is for two people to share The Honours Hickory Smoked Chateaubriand cooked on the kitchen’s charcoal-fuelled Josper oven.

The best selling dish on the menu, this is a magnificent 500g piece of the finest Donald Russell grass fed, dry aged steak. The hickory smoked dish is served with spinach & béarnaise tartine, truffled French fries and mustard slaw.

The offer includes a bottle of house wine to share and tea or coffee to finish.

Option two, which also includes a bottle of house wine, side dish and tea or coffee is for two people to each have two courses from a set menu.

The starters on set menu are crab cappuccino, chicken liver parfait and celeriac risotto with aged Parmesan and a soft poached egg.

The main courses are hand-rolled tagliatelle with truffle purée and sautéed sea scallops; a 36 day matured picanha steak or a presa steak of acorn-fed Iberico pork.

Guests are welcome to order additional courses and side dishes. A 12.5% service charge will be added for extras.

Martin Wishart has built a reputation as one of Scotland’s best chefs with a string of very high profile awards to his name.
