The dining room is a lavish affair and, located just twenty minutes from Glasgow, 40 from Edinburgh and fifteen from Stirling, it is very convenient for anyone in the Central Belt.

The award-winning kitchen prepares everything fresh and in-house with Scottish ingredients taking pride of place on the menus.

Starting with a refreshing Champagne cocktail, today’s Big Deal is for a five course lunch or dinner for two from the market menu.

The dishes change regularly depending on what is in season.

Typical starters might be pan fried fillet of sea bass, served with a chorizo & bean cassoulet and red pepper pesto, or freshly made soup of the day with home baked bread.

Popular main courses include the shin of beef slow cooked with red wine, rolled in breadcrumbs and fried, served with creamed pomme puree, winter vegetables, wild mushrooms and the Beetroot risotto with pickled fennel, pistachios, parmigiano- reggiano and fine herbs.
