An offshoot of the WEST Brewery on Glasgow Green, WEST on the Corner is a welcoming bar and restaurant that brings a stylish taste of Bavaria to Woodlands Road.

Light and airy

By day, it is light and airy with stripped walls, pale wood and white, bright furniture. By night it has an inviting, warm glow.

It is a very appealing space in which to mark a big birthday; celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy some fine food with friends and family.

Private dining

Available from noon to 8pm, Sunday to Thursday, and from noon to 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays, the offer is for twenty people to have a private dining experience in the restaurant at WEST on the Corner.

Guests will be greeted with jugs of the splendid St Mungo lager on arrival before being offered the following menu:

To start

Sharing platters with a selection of German sausages and dips plus pickled red cabbage, pickled baby cucumber, salami, Black Forest ham, Applewood smoked cheddar, obatzda cheese dip and figs. Served with rye bread

Main courses

Jäger Schnitzel – pork escalope in a rich wild mushroom sauce with salad and fries

WEST Black steak pie served with fries

Fillet of salmon with Goan curry sauce and basmati rice

Spätzle, roast butternut squash and sage, parmesan, cream and rocket

Desserts

Apple strudel with vanilla ice cream

Lemon posset and winter berry compote

Hefeweizen ice cream and raspberry compote

Side dishes such as sauerkraut, green salad and house fries will be available at an additional £3 per portion.

Of course, guests are welcome to order more of the WEST Brewery’s fantastic beers or investigate the wine list.
