Before there was Jamie, Gordon or Heston, there was Marco.
Sometimes called the Godfather of modern cooking, Marco Pierre White was the youngest chef to be awarded three Michelin stars and he gave them all back when he was at the height of his powers.
He is the most influential chef in modern Britain and he will be in Glasgow for lunch on Friday 30 October.
Meet the man and eat his lunch with today’s Big Deal from Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill Glasgow in Hotel Indigo on Waterloo Street.
Larger than life chef
The offer is for one person to have the three course lunch below along with three paired cocktails featuring spirits from the William Grant and Sons repertoire of great brands.
Table bookings are being taken from noon to 5pm and Marco will be meeting diners over the course of the afternoon.
Option two of today’s deal includes a copy of Marco’s book ‘White Heat’ which will be signed by the man himself on the day.
Even if you haven’t seen any of his many TV appearances, you won’t miss Marco.
Portraits of the larger than life chef line the walls of his colourful and eponymous restaurant.
Diners will enjoy a three course lunch accompanied by a cocktail for each course:
