By day, it is light and airy with stripped walls, pale wood and white, bright furniture. By night it has an inviting, warm glow.

The locally brewed, German-style lagers and wheat beers on tap are a big attraction.

All day dining

Available Monday to Friday, from noon to 9pm, and from 6pm to 9pm on Sundays, this offer is for two people to each have two courses from the main or market menu along with a pint of WEST beer for each diner.

This deal also includes a WEST branded pint glass for each diner to take away.

Appetising menu

Diners are invited to choose a starter and main course or main course and dessert. The kitchen changes the menus regularly at WEST on the Corner so the exact dishes available may vary.

Typical starters at WEST on the Corner include the salmon and peat smoked haddock fishcake or the beef goulash and tapa rye bread.

Popular main courses are the roast chicken Caesar salad; the slow-roasted ox cheeks and the roast fillet of cod which is served with mashed potato, asparagus and roasted woodland mushrooms and a red wine and truffle dressing.

Alternatively, you could go full German and tuck into the jäger schnitzel with house salad, fries and woodland mushroom sauce or the iconic currywurst: smoked bockwurst sausages with fries, salad, and WEST curry sauce.
