E Scooters are ingenious, self-balancing, battery-powered devices that are probably the closest we are going to get to the hoverboards we were promised in those 1980s sci-fi movies.

Easy to ride and very portable, these items have been in hot demand since they came on the market, and look like being one of the festive sensations of 2015.
The science bit
Powered by a 350W engine, these E Scooters can attain a maximum speed of around 15-20 kmh depending on the rider’s weight and road conditions.
They are self-balancing with a maximum tilt of around 15°-30°.
Power comes from a 36V*4.4AH(158WH) lithium battery which can keep you going for around 15-20km before you need a recharge. Charging uses a standard AC110-240V 50-60HZ connection and takes 1-2 hours. When battery power is lower than 10%, it will give a warning beep and slow down until it finally stops.
Size 584 × 168 × 178(mm) with a weight of 12kg and a tyre size of 17 cm.
