Head Chef Marc Honeyman serves delicious and authentic Italian food in Il Posto while the views over Mar Hall’s golf course and the Kilpatrick Hills, especially from the decking area, are gorgeous.

Available Thursday to Monday, from noon to 6pm, this splendid offer is for two people to enjoy two courses (starter and main course or main course and dessert) at Il Posto.

Minestrone Il Posto – A Hearty Bowl of traditional Italian Soup

Il Pate Di Fegato Di Pollo – Homemade Chicken Liver pate served with toasted Italian bread & tomato onion chutney

Bruschetta Con Pomodoro – Vine ripe cherry tomatoes, marinated in fresh basil garlic & extra virgin olive oil served on Italian bread

Prosciutto di Parma e melone – Fresh melon draped with thinly sliced Parma ham

Main courses

Le Pizze Margherita – San Marzano tomato pizza base with grated Italian mozarella

Salsiccia Picante Pizze – Crumbled spicy Italian sausage and red onion

Penne Pasta Con Pollo E Peperoni – Chicken and roasted peppers in a creamy tomato and basil sauce

Linguine Pesto – Basil, garlic, parmesan and toasted pine nuts drizzled with extra virgin olive oil

Budino Di Caramello – Warm sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream
