‘Learn something new and useless every day’ is the motto at Big Deal towers.
Here is today’s factoid: the origins of the word paella are actually French rather than Spanish.
Interesting. Yet useless.
However you call it, today’s Big Deal on a paella meal at any of La Tasca’s four Scottish branches is a cracker.
For over twenty years, La Tasca have been zinging taste buds with their take on Spanish bar culture. With regular Latin nights and salsa classes, La Tasca venues are buzzy bodegas.
Get into the fiesta zone with today’s offer on their cooked to order paella.
Paella & Sangria
The offer is for two people to have paella and share a jug of sangria at La Tasca on Renfield Street or at the Silverburn shopping centre in Glasgow; on South Charlotte Street in Edinburgh or on Union Street in Aberdeen.
Vouchers are valid seven days a week from the 1st January to February 2014 which means that this offer could be used as a tasty little stocking filler.
La Tasca takes great pride in using genuine Spanish ingredients on its menus. From Galician quince to cured meats from Pamplona, authenticity is key in La Tasca’s kitchens.
With this offer, each diner can choose from three Valencian paellas:
Paella verduras – made with fresh, seasonal vegetables
Paella de carne – made with chicken breast and chorizo.
Paella Valenciana La Tasca – made with chicken, Galician mussels, king
prawns & squid.
As part of the offer, diners can choose to share a jug of cava based Sangria Del Dia with their paella.
La Tasca has been making Spanish food fans happy since 1993. This is what Beverley47 thought after a recent visit to La Tasca in Edinburgh:
‘Fab food. Lovely atmosphere, great food loads of choice. Great service, nothing too much trouble by staff, all very pleasant, helpful and smiled—makes a difference!’
