Hosted by The Wine Palate, the event takes place The Trades Hall Glasgow on Glassford Street and is a fantastic way to learn more about wine – all in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Spring Wine Festival

Option one is for one person to have afternoon entry (1pm-5.30pm) to the Glasgow Spring Wine Festival on Saturday 26 March 2016.

Option two is for two people to have afternoon entry to the Glasgow Spring Wine Festival.

Option three is for one person to add on a tutored wine tasting of premium wines at the festival. These are a great way to really get to grips with the unique characteristics which mark out the premium wines.

Boutique vineyards

In the luxurious surroundings of The Trades Hall of Glasgow, visitors will be invited to discover high quality wines from boutique and family owned vineyards – from exciting emerging wine regions to well known regions steeped in winemaking history.

There will be the opportunity to sample over 50 quality and limited production wines from independent wine producers.

These wines have been specially selected for spring and summer drinking and are designed for pairing with food over the Easter holidays, summer barbeques and warm summer days.

There will also be deli street food on sale throughout the session – perfect if you want to experiment with a little food and wine pairing.

Wine enthusiasts

If you like wine and would like to learn more, this is a great opportunity to learn firsthand about the passion and expertise that goes into making boutique quality wine.

The event is perfect for wine lovers who want to find out more without wine snobbery, wine jargon or complicated technical information.
