Today’s Big Deal with Mansion House on Glasgow’s Glassford Street has two options.
Option one is for two people to have a main course from the lunch menu plus a cocktail each.
Option two is for one ticket to the brilliant Friday night comedy show. It also includes a welcome drink.
Choosing between them is like choosing which of your ears you like best so we suggest that you buy both. Problem sorted!
Lunch for 2
From a roller disco to karaoke pods via Jongleurs comedy club, the Mansion House has plenty of attractions.
The food and drink are among the most popular reasons to visit.
Valid from noon-5pm, seven days a week, option one is for two people to each enjoy a main course from the Mansion House lunch menu plus a cocktail.
The lunch menu at the Mansion House is packed with popular dishes.
As well as a range of burgers, there are classic comfort food choices such as mac ‘n’ cheese along with beer-battered fish and chips, Cumberland sausages and mash or chilli con carne.
Fancy a chicken, bacon and avocado salad? A chicken fajita wrap? Chick pea and spinach curry?
They are all on the menu along with several more old favourites.
The cocktail list offers just as broad a choice. Whether you want a Cosmo, Margarita, Martini or a Woo Woo, the choice is yours.
The sirloin steak is excluded from offer.
Long lunch with a friend
With vouchers valid seven days a week, this offer could be used for a decadent escape-the-office lunch; a weekend get together with a pal or as part of a big day out with a group of friends or family.
Located within Mansion House, Glasgow’s most exciting entertainment destination, Jongleurs is a one stop party shop.
Option two is for one ticket to a Friday night comedy show at Jongleurs Glasgow and it includes a welcome drink.
Your comedy ticket will give you access to six other late night bars as well as entry to the Seventies and Eighties-themed Groovy Wonderland club after the show.
At the show, you can look forward to a top class line-up of three comedians plus a compere.
The bill changes every night but typical gagmeisters might include Jane Godley, Kai Humphries, Geoff Boyz and Stu Who?
Doors open 6.45pm and the show starts at 8.30pm, with last entry at 8.15pm on both nights.
Happy, smiley audiences
Comedy is very much a matter of personal taste and the Jongleurs comedians know how to hit the funny bone of most audiences.
Taken from TripAdvisor, we liked the short but sweet comment:
‘Sore from laughing’.
The food and drink at Mansion House also provides plenty of reasons to smile:
‘Lovely cocktails. Stopped in here for some lunch and drinks. Food is very cheap for the city centre and decent quality for the price. The staff were really friendly and happy to make cocktails that weren’t on the menu without hesitation. Nice wee spot to spend the afternoon!’
Lunch and a cheeky cocktail with a friend?
Or Friday night laughs at Jongleurs? Go wild and snap up both.
