With no wind, no rain and small classes led by fully qualified instructors, Scotland’s leading snow sports centre is the perfect environment in which to begin learning your snow moves.

Absolute beginners

Suitable for complete beginners from the age of eleven and up, this offer is for a 90 minute group lesson.

The ideal introduction to snowboarding or skiing, the lesson will help students learn about the equipment, become comfortable sliding on their skis or snowboard and introduce basic posture and control.

The offer price includes provision of skis, ski boots, poles or snowboard boots and snowboards. Helmets are essential and are provided.

Warm waterproof clothing is recommended. Bring your own or this can be hired from Snow Factor for £3.50 at the time of booking or on the day at £5.50.

Students aged 11-15 are taught in junior groups. Those aged 16 and over are classed as adults and taught in adult groups.

The instructors know that no two learners are the same and they will be with you every step of the way at a pace that you’re comfortable with.

Of course, the emphasis is on making it fun as well as learning the basics. 

Real snow resort

A 4 star visitor attraction, Snow Factor is Scotland’s largest, indoor real snow resort.
Each night, snow guns blast a blizzard of fresh snow over the slopes to create ideal skiing or snowboarding conditions.
