Is it ever possible for a girl to be too glamorous or wear too many sequins?
Consider the evidence while you enjoy a great night of fine food and fabulous entertainment with today’s Big Deal at Wild Cabaret.
Having launched earlier this year, the award-winning Wild Cabaret on Candleriggs in Glasgow’s Merchant City is a one stop shop for quality dining, sophisticated drinking and raucous entertainment – all housed within the same venue.
Available on Wednesdays, the offer is for one person to enjoy a two course dinner from the midweek set menu followed by the Kitsch Kabaret show.
The offer also includes a glass of wine.
Cabaret goes Kitsch
Skilfully blended to show cabaret at its best, the Kitsch Kabaret serves up top class cabaret hosts, beautiful dancers, side-stitching comedy, impressive vocalists, spectacular aerial acts and even powerful circus performers.
The food on offer is just as colourful. Exact dishes will change but typical starters on the menu might be the spiced crispy duck and apple salad with a pomegranate and chilli dressing or the sea bream with a fennel salad.
Popular main courses might include the pan-seared sea bass with pommes purée and clam chowder or the mighty house burger.
The range of desserts often poses some real dilemmas. How do you choose between honeycomb, bread and butter pudding with Drambuie ice cream and a gooseberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream?
Wild Cabaret has yet to celebrate its first birthday but Glasgow has already taken the place to heart.
This is what one happy visitor had to say on TripAdvisor. We’ve shortened it slightly for length but not meaning:
‘Wonderful evening. We went for an evening out, not quite sure what to expect and were very, very impressed. All the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and just a pleasure to talk to. Setting was immaculate, the place looked fantastic. Food was wonderfully presented and tasted great… And the cabaret itself was amazing. Some acts better than others but the compere brought the evening to life and quickly drew everyone into the room and into the fun. We had a fantastic night and can’t recommend the Wild Cabaret highly enough.’
