Summer is pretty much here and we’re hoping it’s here to stay.
Get in the summer mood with today’s sunny Big Deal on modern Spanish tapas at Cubatas Tapas Bar and Restaurant.
Since launching on Elderslie Street a couple of years ago, the Cubatas team have been busy bunnies.
Winning new friends, pleasing old customers and developing fresh and exciting recipes – they have barely drawn breath.
If you haven’t been yet, this Big Deal is a great way to try out Cubatas Tapas Bar and Restaurant and see just why they are so popular.
Available seven days a week, today’s Big Deal is for a £25 spend (option one) or a £50 spend (option two) on tapas from the a la carte menu at Cubatas.
Option one is for a minimum of two people and option two is for a minimum of four people.
With its stripped walls and slinky wooden bar, Cubatas looks very contemporary and that bang-up-to-date vibe continues on their menus.
The a la carte menu has plenty of traditional favourites such as garlic and chilli prawns; tortilla and patatas bravas.
In addition, the kitchen also produces a variety of dishes which take a more innovative approach to tapas.
From beef carpaccio with olives and Manchego cheese to sea bass with cauliflower purée, salmon roe and citrus juices, the kitchen brigade at Cubatas are always ready to surprise.
There are loads of great vegetable dishes. The fried cheese with blueberry jam and the grilled peppers with cheese and basil spring out.
Cubatas has attracted enthusiastic reviews on 5pm where it has a healthy combined score of 4.2/5 from more than a hundred reviews. These are a couple of the most recent:
‘Lovely meal. This was a lovely restaurant, the food was freshly cooked with a varied choice… Service was superb, would go there again.’ Rating 4.2/5
‘Lovely evening. Just spent a lovely evening here and will definitely be back. Staff really friendly and helpful. Reasonable prices for excellent food.’ Rating 5/5
Great night out
Valid until the end of July 2016, this offer would be perfect for a night out with friends or family; it’s a good excuse to dodge cooking and it would also be ideal for a bite before heading to a show at the King’s, The Hydro or SECC.
