A popular party zone, Driftwood is a Mexican bar on St George’s Road, right by the rock ‘n’ roll end of Sauchiehall Street.

Decked out with the driftwood from which it takes its name, the bar is a comfy and welcoming spot in which to kick back and chill over a bite to eat and a couple of drinks.

Available seven days a week, today’s Big Deal is for two people to each have a pizza plus a Keglini cocktail at Driftwood.

There are usually ten delicious pizza to choose from. They range from a classic Margarita to the carbonara – bacon, egg and onion on a white base.

We’re tickled by the thought of the breakfast pizza which is topped with bacon, egg, black pudding, beans and onions.

There is a veggie option and, for those whose tastes lie at the other end of the meat-eating spectrum, the Meat Feast is made with pepperoni, chicken, spicy sausage and smoked sausage.

Put simply, there is a pizza for everyone at Driftwood.

And the Keglini?

Thanks for asking. A Keglini is a glass of bubbles infused with flavoured vodka. Choose from strawberry, peach, apple, blood orange, raspberry and coconut.
