Running on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 6pm to 7pm, the offer is for one person to have an informal whisky tasting session with one of the hotel’s qualified whisky ambassadors.

If you can’t tell your Highlands from your Speysides, then this session is a great way to get to grip with Scotland’s national drink.

Guests will be served a whisky from each of Scotland’s four main whisky-producing regions.

The four drams will be accompanied by smoked cheese, dark chocolate and oat cake nibbles.

Now we know that some people (poor souls) have yet to discover that they love whisky. Anyone who comes along to Chats to keep the whisky taster company can make use of a 10% discount on their drinks.

Of course, you must be over eighteen to enjoy this whisky tasting Big Deal and, if you have the good fortune to look a day under 25, you will be asked to produce ID.
