Yesbar

We haven’t checked this with a grown-up but we are pretty certain that both pizza and pasta count as one of your five a day.

It all adds up with today’s Big Deal on pizza or pasta for two with a glass of wine at Yesbar, the buzzy Drury Street café, bar and comedy club.

A chic mix of slick city centre bar and retro-style Italian café, Yesbar is a popular three storey hangout in the heart of Glasgow.

Great choice

Available seven days a week, this tasty Big Deal is for two people to each have any pasta dish or any pizza from the Classic section of the main menu, plus a glass of red or white house wine for each diner.

There are seven different Classic pizza to choose from. You could go for a Margherita – topped with Yesbar’s special sauce – or opt for something spicy like the pepperoni or the Italian sausage.

Ten pasta dishes give plenty to choose from and they are all old favourites. We are not sure how you decide between carbonara, lasagne or spaghetti meatballs.

Having said that, we’re also tempted by the penne salsiccia – made with Yesbar’s own spicy sausage.

Fantastic night out

Alternatively, enjoy your meal and then stay on for one of Yesbar’s popular comedy nights.
