Big Sunday lunches with friends and family are great.
Except for the cooking. And the washing up. The shopping ain’t much fun either.
Dodge all the rubbish bits and enjoy a spectacular Sunday lunch with today’s Big Deal in the Brasserie at Malmaison in Leith.
Sitting by the waterside, Leith Mal has long been a stylish spot for a bite to eat or a drink.
Comprising a Buck’s Fizz and a magnificent four course lunch for two, this brilliant offer combines both.
The offer is for two people to each enjoy a glass of Buck’s Fizz on arrival followed by the four course Sunday lunch.
At the risk of repeating ourselves, it really is a humdinger.
Guests can start with the soup of the day before grazing the Chef’s Table. As well as unlimited salads, terrines, pâtés and hand-carved Serrano ham, the Chef’s Table features a chef’s cook station which prepares omelettes, eggs, waffles and pancakes – all done the way you like them.
The third course offers more choices in the form of the Mal eggs Benedict; the house Big Brunch breakfast or main courses such as a choice of roasts, the classic Mal burger, steak frites, smoked haddock fishcakes… the choice is stunning.
If there is any room left then think about desserts like the pear and sultana crumble, Clementine parfait or freshly prepared crêpes Suzettes.
A word of advice, it might be an idea to skip breakfast in order to really do it all justice.
The Brasserie at Malmaison is highly rated by 5pm users with over a hundred people giving it a combined rating of 4.1/5. This is what a repeat visitor thought of his experience at Mal in Leith:
‘Return visit. Menu changed from last visit and still demonstrates great value for money. Great setting, good ambience, well presented and superbly cooked food.’ Rating 5/5
We ran this offer in the Mal in Glasgow a couple of weeks back and it sold out very quickly. So, if you fancy swerving the dishes for a few Sundays, move fast, grab a bunch of this Big Deal and tuck in.
