Pastry selection

As well as specialist teas and coffees, afternoon tea includes a selection of tasty finger sandwiches, warm scones and the pastry chef’s cakes.

Option two adds a glass of Champagne to your afternoon tea treat – a glass of fizz often gives the gossip some extra sparkle.

Steam room and sauna

The leisure club features an airy pool with views to the grounds, whirlpool, sauna and steam room. A few laps of the pool followed by a recuperative steam could be just the ticket to sharpen the appetite for afternoon tea.

If you must, there is also a gym with a great range of cardiovascular equipment and free weights.
