Flexible accommodation

Available Monday to Thursday, the offer is for four to six people to stay in a cottage for two or three nights.

Option one is for up to four people (four adults or two adults and two children) to stay in a two bedroom cottage for two nights.

Option two is for up to six people (six adults or four adults and two children) to stay in a three bedroom cottage for two nights.

Option three is for up to four people to stay in a two bedroom cottage for three nights. Option four is for up to six people to stay in a three bedroom cottage for three nights.

The cottages are fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay from TVs with Freeview and DVD players to bed linen and bath sheets; dishwashers, washing machines and a starter pack which includes dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, black bags, tea towels.

Possibly more importantly, each cottage has its own hot tub and BBQ.

Working farm

Meiklebob farm is a working livestock farm and the owners will gladly take visitors on a tour of the farm to see the larger farm animals.

There are also lots of smaller, friendly animals, cheeky little creatures that are always inquisitive to see what’s going on.

If you or a small person want to feed the pigs, hens, ponies, or even pet the rabbits – you’d be welcome.

See & do

If you like fishing, then you are invited to see what you can catch in the river that surrounds the farm. Assuming that the friendly family of otters don’t get there first.

Of course, guests are also welcome to roam the fields and meadows, and see the exciting variety of birds, flowers, and mammals that live also live on the farm.

Venturing beyond the farm, there are stunning beaches to explore; world class mountain biking at 7 Stanes and both Kirkcudbright – the Artists’ Town – and Sweetheart Abbey are fascinating places to visit.
