Since opening in the landmark Ayrshire hotel last year, the Two Fat Ladies Restaurant has been building a reputation for serving the finest, locally sourced food.
Available Sunday-Friday, today’s Big Deal is for two people to have a two course lunch accompanied by a chilled glass of Champagne.
The modern menu specialises in fresh and seasonal dishes. While the exact choices may change typical options might be starters such as the Two Fats prawn cocktail, Cullen skink or the smooth chicken liver pâté served with pear chutney and toasted onion bread.
Popular main courses include the blade of Scotch beef with chive mash, button onion, pancetta and red wine jus or the oven-baked fillet of cod, chorizo and chickpea stew.
