Option one is for two people to enjoy an overnight getaway with a full Scottish breakfast and three course dinner.

The Taynuilt Hotel has ten recently refurbished rooms in total, each named after a different Scottish.

Accommodation for this offer is in a twin or double Superior Room on the first floor. Each one is individually decorated and features a HD Flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, mirror and en-suite bathroom. 

Guests are welcome to upgrade their room to a Deluxe Superior room for £25 and can also arrange to have Champagne, Prosecco or homemade sweets in their room on arrival – perfect for a romantic break.

Two AA Rosettes

Head Chef-Proprietor John McNulty takes great care and attention over the sourcing and preparation of the seasonal produce used in his kitchen.

The menu changes depending on the best produce available that day. Representative starters might be the starter of seafood soup – Peterhead smoked haddock, Loch Fyne mussels, Scottish salmon and king prawns – while a typical main course might be the saddle of Perthshire Roe deer served with a smoked butternut squash purée, baby turnips, tenderstem broccoli and the hotel’s our own smoked and cured pancetta.

Chef McNulty’s care and attention is reflected in the restaurant’s two AA Rosettes and in the Informal Dining of the Year Regional Award which the restaurant was given at this year’s Scottish Hotel Awards.

The restaurant has also featured in the Michelin Guide for the last three years.

See & do

The hotel is only a twenty minute drive from Oban and the ferries to the isles, perfect for visits to the Inner Hebrides and beyond.

The hotel also provides an excellent base to explore Argyll and take part in many of the locally available activities such as fishing, hill walking, golf, wildlife tours and much more.

If you would rather curl up with a book and a drink, the hotel’s lounge bar is very well stocked with an excellent selection of wine, craft beers, malt whiskies, gins and other spirits and liqueurs.
