How do I use 5pm Takeaway?
You can browse takeaways by A-Z, Location or Cuisine Type. You can also enter your postcode and search to find Takeaways that deliver to your area.
How do I know which takeaways deliver to my area?
Click on the Order Takeaway tab on the 5pm site, enter your postcode and check ‘delivery’ is ticked. Click ‘search’ and the site will show you all the takeaways that deliver to your postcode.
When I search for my postcode nothing is appearing, why is this?
It’s possible that we do not have any takeaways currently in your area. If you would like to suggest any that 5pm could approach to join the website please email your suggestions to takeawayhelp@5pm.co.uk
Or is it possible that you’ve entered your postcode incorrectly? Double check and try again.
Can I use my normal 5pm account for takeaway?
Yes. There is no need to register for a new account.
Do I have to register with my delivery address or can I have my order delivered anywhere?
You do not have to register your delivery address, but at the moment your takeaway does have to be delivered to the address your debit/credit card is registered to.
How do I pay for my takeaway?
Once you’ve added all your items to your basket you can pay by credit or debit card via our secure payment system
How long does delivery take?
Just like when you’re ordering over the phone delivery differs depending on each takeaway, and also on which night you have made your order and how busy the takeaway is. Usually takeaways will be a lot busier at the weekend. If you have been waiting longer than you expected for your order you can contact the 5pm Takeaway Team on TakeawayHelp@5pm.co.uk and we’ll check what is happening with your order. Alternatively if you prefer you can call the takeaway directly, their number will be on your order confirmation.

What if the takeaway cant find my address?
Takeaways have a good knowledge of their local area, but we ask you to enter a telephone number at the time of booking so the takeaway can call you on the rare occasion that there are problems of this sort.
Is it possible to cancel my order?
No. Once your order is put through it is sent straight to the takeaway who will then start preparing your food. If you have a problem with your order please contact TakeawayHelp@5pm.co.uk
Can I amend part of my order once it has been placed?
No. Once your order is put through it is sent straight to the takeaway who will then start preparing your food.
What if only part of the order is received or or order is wrong
Please contact the 5pm Takeaway Team who will call the takeaway on your behalf to try and resolve any issues.
What if the order is delivered too late and I want a refund?
If this happens please let the delivery driver know, do not accept the takeaway and then contact the 5pm Takeaway Team at takeawayhelp@5pm.co.uk.
Can I leave a review for my takeaway order?
Yes. You can leave a review by clicking on the ‘Bookings’ tab on your 5pm account. You will receive 7 loyalty points per £1 spent.
