About Malmaison - Leeds

Malmaison Leeds is a stylish boutique hotel with an equally elegant brasserie. Described by Malmaison as a ‘low lit den of fine wine and devilishly divine dining,’ it has impressive vaulted ceiling, leather booths and an open-through glass fireplace. Cutlery and glass seem to have been polished within an inch of their life, whilst linen is crisp and clean. Whether you’re having an important business lunch or a romantic dinner, it’s a great place to enjoy European-style food in an urbane environment. The menu tends to the traditional with innovative touches, and produce is locally sourced if possible. Braised Nidderdale lamb shanks and locally shot partridge are just two possible examples. Vegetarians are treated to some unusually thoughtful dishes. Courgette and gruyère soufflé is one option; wet Italian polenta, wild mushrooms and a poached egg another. Wine buffs will be delighted by the wine list, which is international in scope.
