Da Luciano is a glass-fronted edifice, flooded with natural light by day and creatively lit by night. The eye-catching architecture is complemented by edgy interior design, incorporating artwork and sculptures as well as quirky, crafted radiators. The style is Mediterranean inspired, with blues and creams predominating. The restaurant has a separate beer garden and lounge bar, which has seven to eight tables serving bar food. The atmosphere is relaxed on weekdays and lively at the weekend, with the introduction of a jazz pianist and singer. The menu is a something-for-everyone mix, with light bites such as tapas and antipasti sharing the stage with innovative, main meals. Menu highlights such as sea bass served with smoked salmon risotto, splice the best of Scottish raw materials with a continental outlook. The Bacchus room, catering for up to fifty, is ideal as a private function suite.
