Run by the same two families for more than twenty-five years, Di Maggio’s is an Italian pizzeria in and around Glasgow. Di Maggio’s Airdrie branch, located in the centre of this North Lanarkshire town, is bustling and welcoming. With a private car park and extensive seating, it has a family-friendly atmosphere, although brasserie-style décor adds a touch of European refinement. Dining in Di Maggio’s is a relaxed and reliable affair, although the wide-ranging menu might occasion some soul-searching.
Dishes include bruschetta, deep-fried mozzarella cubes, chicken wings, pizzas and pastas.
You’d be forgiven for thinking that this all sounds more American than Italian, but Di Maggio’s menu cleverly straddles the Atlantic with its Italian classics and American staples. Their motto is ‘our family serving your family since 1983.’
